Michael Spring heading to Portugal (and other news)

Sorry there hasn’t been much in the way of Left Fork news lately, but a few notes for you:

First, some ebluewolf (2)xciting news: Michael Spring, whose collection Ravenwood was published by Left Fork last year, has won a fellowship from Disquiet. As one of the Disquiet Literary Prize winners, he will receive free airfare, accommodation, and tuition for the 2016 Disquiet program in Lisbon, Portugal. Congratulations, Michael! More information on the award can be found here (scroll down on the page until you see the picture to the right and you can read Mike’s bio).

Second, submissions are now closed for the second print annual of Cobra Lily: a review of southwest oregon literature and art. Expect the issue to appear around southern oregon around June-ish. We’ll update this space as we get closer to pub. date, so stay tuned.

Finally, we’d like to update you on a few places where you can find Left Fork books.  The Doodle, Design, & Draw Book is now available in Cave Junction at Diggin Livin and also the Illinois Valley Visitor Center. And this book and others can be found at Pinecone Books. Thanks!
